While You Were Out

this car kept breaking down
with a lack of your presence
I didn't know what to do

I could have used your love for some of these harsh moments
because the pillar in time
needed a pillow to find
the sand box fills up from our love

our hearts have been waiting again
I wish I was with you to make sure
that you weren't crashing too
