Episcopal Corrected

Think back to the days we had,
Tell me if I could've changed our path;
What was it I did to feel that this was the road less traveled?

I don't want you to be the one that I miss,
I don't want you to be the one who got away,

Find your way to me, in the darkest nights and the brightest days

Screaming

You came to me in photographs and silhouettes,
Memories that were never mine,
A true love in a false time
Screaming
"I'm not ready for this pain, why must we go this way?"
Forgive the sunsets that you were never quite ready to see,
And love just wasn't ready for me;

As the glue dried I started slipping back to my ceramic base,
A petrified look on a ceramic face,
And cold blue eyes saw a man simply fall apart,

Just like the million pieces you found me in,
This tragedy continued to play out;

As the paint dried you could see just how bad the pigment was taking skin, blood levels low and love levels getting thin

My silver spoon was always the one I never used to eat with,
I can't stand to eat with my mouth that close to a dagger,

Nothing left but the part where you leave,
I'll keep sipping my Jack
The man you'll never know;
Covered by surfaces march-men;
You put me in a war against myself versus brick walls and basketballs,
Leave it to the court to determine where I end up,

Stroke every line you write about being broken hearted

Strike me as broken hearted

Stalkers

Follow me to the back end of the places nobody ever knew of,
Help yourself to my footsteps and shadows,
As time goes by, it's commonly unsaid
Forever is longer than long enough,
And if you continue to follow me,
You'll find I commonly end up nowhere and at dead end streets,
Tonight the lights will give me my heat,
Or else I'll be the coldest person you'll ever meet
So forget the reasons you followed me through the darkness,
Remember the reasons you left
Remember the treasons you sent
Remember the stalkers and the men who loved you;
The people who never stopped wanting to know what it's like to be you

I guess I sort-of just figured you were being reasonable for letting me go my own way,
Stalkers until the end, following the footsteps of the shadows
These exact ones won't ever be back
But if its broken then we are perfect,
Perfectly broken lights and backs from street fights,
Never surrendering, vacated from the moments we will never forget,
Will you continue to follow me?

So many mixed signals and the towers are collapsing, regarding every word I've ever said,
I'm better off dead

When we watch them run for the fence,
Our guns start searching for the place in the back of their mind
That they hope we won't ever find,

The jury is still out and the sentence is already complete,
An empty you, and an empty me
Is more than enough to make us both complete

Verbiage: Running Away

These weeks are running me down
Motionless words,
Sleeping in the back of my car
And I can't be overheard

All alone, feeling lost at home
I've spent all day waiting for you
And I can't believe I've been so empty

I've lived my life in waves between seas,
These emotions are running and escaping me
Like tripping on vines,
Through the grape and red wines,
Can't wait to see the red lines

These eyes work like thunder,
And the lightning is striking us where we stand,
Hiding in places we don't understand

I love you,
Come be next to me,
I choose to be the beach
And you can be the sea

The rivers hide between creeks and hills,
Oh how I realized how strong your words were when you weren't here

Integrities biggest strength grows when weak,
And rebounded us without places to seek,

I'm gone without motion
Sleeping in backseats
Back pressed against the door
Back to the pressing floor

So tell me you love me,
I'm between the waves,
I'll forget the reason you chose the beach
If you forget the reason I chose the sea
